HOW IT WORKS
Beauty & The Bra is back.
This year, we're inviting artists, crafters, and anyone with a little creativity and a lot of heart to decorate a bra and help us fight breast cancer. Whether you're a lifelong maker or a first-timer with a glue gun, this is your invitation to show up for a cause that matters.
Every dollar raised through voting goes directly to the Yvonne Ashley Galiber Breast Cancer Foundation and the U.S. Virgin Islands community we serve. It's a simple, joyful way to make a real difference.
And you don't have to be in the Virgin Islands to take part. Submissions are welcome from anywhere in the world!
How It Works

Design your bra. Decorate a physical bra however your creativity takes you. Beads, paint, fabric, feathers, the works.

Submit your photo. Take a clear, well-lit photo of your finished piece and submit it. The public votes, so make it count. You'll also have to send your physical artwork to us for display during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. More info on this later.

The public votes. Once submissions close, every entry goes into a live gallery. Anyone can vote for their favorite at $5 per vote.

We crown a winner. The most-voted bra takes the win. We'll reveal the winner in November.
Entry Guidelines
Please read through the following carefully before you begin.

Physical entries only. Your bra must be a physical, decorated item. Digital designs will not be accepted for this year's competition.

Submit your photo by OCTOBER 14. Send a clear, well-lit photo of your finished bra. We recommend photographing it against a plain background so the detail of your work really shows. This photo is what the public votes on, so make it count. Keep a copy for your own records.

Mail your physical bra. Once voting closes, you must mail your physical bra to our P.O. Box. Specific mailing details will be provided upon submission.

Costs are the participant's responsibility. You cover all costs related to designing and decorating your bra, plus all shipping to the US Virgin Islands. YAGF does not reimburse expenses.

Returns. If you would like your bra returned after the competition, you are responsible for return shipping.

Late entries will not be accepted.
TIMELINE

[Mailing deadline: to confirm] Winning and displayed bras must be mailed to and received at our P.O. Box. Specific mailing details will be provided later.

Each vote costs $5, and every dollar supports our mission of free breast cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured residents. The more you vote, the bigger the impact.
